دار الحفاظ
Daar Al Huffaz
The House of Those Who Memorise
The meaning of our name
A name that holds our purpose
Our name comes from the Arabic دار الحفاظ — “The House of Those Who Memorise”. It describes what we set out to be: a home where the Qur’an is learnt, memorised and carried into everyday life.
- Daarدار
- A house, a home.
- Al Huffazالحفاظ
- Those who memorise the Qur’an — the plural of Hafiz.
Our mission
To teach the Qur’an with proper fluency, memorisation and understanding — building a strong connection with the Book of Allah while instilling Islamic manners and etiquette in every student.
Fluency
Correct pronunciation, the rules of Tajweed and confident reading from the Mushaf.
Memorisation
Structured Hifz with daily plans, regular revision and progress tracking.
Understanding
Essential Islamic knowledge, manners and etiquette alongside every lesson.
From the Qur’an
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
“And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?”
Repeated four times in Surah Al-Qamar, this verse is a reminder that Allah has made His Book easy to recite, to remember and to reflect upon.
